Prospective owners who have gone the route of the IGB Ownership Programme in search of potential greyhounds have been coming up trumps in recent weeks.

When the final of the A2 Stake is run at Limerick Stadium on Saturday night the crowd will be swelled by a group of prison officers from Limerick Prison who will be cheering on their greyhound Tuberlane Jack.

The IGB’s Syndication programme seems to be getting back on the rails in a big away again, despite the obvious problems presented by the effects of the recession.

The Irish Greyhound Board’s syndication department may have been a little quieter since the recession began to bite but it came up trumps again last week when Pretty Pandora was an impressive winner of an A4 contest around Dundalk.
